1-Channel 5V Relay Module
- Controls AC and DC electrical loads.
- Supports up to 10A switching capacity.
Description
The 1-Channel 5V Relay Module allows microcontrollers to control external electrical devices using a low-voltage digital signal. It features an electromechanical SPDT relay with Normally Open (NO), Normally Closed (NC), and Common (COM) terminals. The common SRD-05VDC-SL-C relay version supports loads up to 10A at 250V AC or 30V DC, subject to the relay's rated conditions. The module operates from a 5V DC supply and connects through three control pins: VCC, GND, and IN. Depending on the board version, it may use active-LOW or active-HIGH triggering. Indicator LEDs show power and relay status, while some versions include optocoupler isolation. It is suitable for Arduino, ESP32, automation, robotics, and IoT projects. High-voltage wiring requires proper insulation and safety precautions.
